Reliability Consultant

SEAM Group (previously Predictive Service), a fast-growing global company headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, specializing in maintenance, reliability and sustainability solutions for a wide array of industries and applications is seeking a service professional to join our team. The primary responsibilities are to deliver our reliability and management consulting engineering, including RCM, PM optimization, FMEA, RCFA, PdM design, work management and other reliability service offerings.


Primary Duties:
  • Provide a balance between reliability consulting and maintenance coaching and mentoring

  • Provide reliability engineering support for our consulting customers

  • Provide expertise in Maintenance Strategy Development, Work Management, PM development and PM optimization

  • Provide customer support and communication of maintenance and reliability improvements actions

  • Provide expertise in predictive disciplines and serve as an design consultant to customer applications

  • Travel to and from customer locations via car, rental car or airplane. Travel may be as much as 75%

  • Maintenance coaching and mentoring

  • Assist with client/program improvement initiatives

  • Assist with and lead reliability consulting projects relating to maintenance strategies optimization and management.

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Ideal candidate will be experience in maintenance management and reliability initiatives in a manufacturing environment focus on increase throughput

  • 5-7 years’ experience in maintenance management or maintenance leadership position

  • Experienced with industrial/manufacturing mechanical and electrical maintenance

  • 3-5 years' experience in Work Management, root cause failure analysis and PM development/optimization

  • Familiar with PdM technologies including infrared, vibration, oil analysis, ultrasound, and motor circuit evaluation

  • Technical Writing and communication skills

  • Project organization and management

Customer service skills
  • Reliability engineering with an emphasis in strategy development, PdM implementations, work planning and scheduling, or other specialized knowledge relating to maintenance management and optimization

  • Preferably with experience in an outsourced service environment

  • BA/BS in a technical degree or equivalent experience
