Senior Reliability Consultant

SEAM Group (previously Predictive Service), a fast-growing global company headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, specializing in maintenance, reliability and sustainability solutions is seeking a professional with Life Science industry experience to join our team. The primary responsibilities are to deliver our reliability engineering and management consulting services, including RCM, PM optimization, FMEA, RCFA, PdM design, work management and other service offerings.

Primary Duties:
  • Provide expertise in RCM, Reliability Strategy Development, Work Management, PM development, and PM optimization to support growth in the Reliability Programs at our customer sites

  • Provide project support to larger RCM teams and communicate progress of maintenance and reliability improvement actions to the customer

  • Provide expertise in Predictive Maintenance disciplines and serve as a design consultant to customer CMMS applications

  • Travel as much as 75% to and from customer locations via car, rental car or airplane

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • BS in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or another engineering discipline

  • 10+ years’ experience in a Maintenance and Reliability leadership role with an emphasis in strategy development, PdM implementations, work planning and scheduling, or other specialized knowledge relating to maintenance management and PM optimization

  • 5 years' experience in Work Management and PM development/optimization

  • Certified RCM Facilitator

  • Familiar with PdM technologies including infrared, vibration, oil analysis, ultrasound, and motor circuit evaluation

  • Technical Writing and communication skills

  • Project organization and management skills

  • Customer service skills


Our consultants travel to work locations by air or car and can typically count on being on the road during the work week and home on weekends. Travel-related expenses are covered by SEAM Group; we pay for transportation, lodging, and offer a per diem. A corporate credit card is part of the package and you are allowed to keep and utilize points earned through travel reward programs. A valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record are required. Criminal background checks and drug screening are also part of our hiring process.
