Vice President of Sales — Sales and Marketing

Location: Cleveland, OH

SEAM Group has an immediate opening for a VP of Sales at our Beachwood, Ohio location at 25200 Chagrin Boulevard.  We’re looking for a motivated, results-driven professional who understands how to identify and tap into customer needs to lead our domestic Sales and Marketing team.  If you are competitive, financially motivated, and capable of teaching your strategies to a team, we are excited to talk with you!

The Vice President of Sales is responsible for:

  • Outlining strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals

  • Managing and fine-tuning our sales force structure including the development of a compensation model with incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their targets

  • Hiring and developing sales staff through targeted training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives

  • Managing customer expectations and contributing to a high level of customer satisfaction

  • Providing detailed and accurate sales forecasting

  • Compiling information and data related to customer and prospect interactions

  • Monitoring customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions

  • Working closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs

  • Managing key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities

  • And traveling for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships


The best candidates will have the following qualifications:

  • MBA with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or related field

  • 10+ years of B2B sales experience with demonstrated success closing multimillion-dollar deals selling technical services to a variety of industries

  • 5+ years of experience hiring, leading, and managing a team including developing a training plan that promotes goal achievement

  • Experience utilizing a CRM (Salesforce) to manage team tasks, pipeline, and closing data

  • Experience providing status reports with market and customer feedback to a corporate leadership team

  • A proven track record of superior performance metrics

  • Excellent negotiation skills with strong decision-making abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to travel as needed
