Note to Our Clients Regarding COVID-19

We are all facing tumultuous and unprecedented times as the risks associated with Coronavirus start to impact our lives, families, work and economy. Our thoughts go out to all those whose lives have been turned upside down and especially to those who are sick, and the families most directly impacted.


Safety is a core value of SEAM Group – the safety of our clients and our own team – and to that end we want to do everything we can to support you during these difficult times – and do so safely.


Since Monday, March 16 all our office-based staff are working remotely as much as possible to ensure social distancing. Our systems and infrastructure allow us to continue operations smoothly. For our field-based staff this is, of course, more challenging. We have provided extensive guidelines to our staff to ensure their safety, and that of anyone they might interact with at our client locations. We are developing new protocols that will enable our field technicians to conduct work without increasing exposure risk for themselves or others.


At SEAM Group our focus is helping our clients operate their facilities, assets and equipment safely and reliably. In the challenging times we face, we are acutely aware that we must support our supply chains, healthcare systems and technology providers to ensure food, medication and communication gets to those who need it. 


We are focusing our efforts on how we continue to support our clients and communities and ensure safety, reliability and maintenance to meet the extraordinary new demands we face. As such we are working diligently to determine alternative ways in which we can deliver our services. This includes options to work remotely, use technology creatively to enable assessment work, review asset data and advise clients on issues.  We have moved a number of key activities in our consulting and training groups online and are extending the range of work we will conduct remotely. As we develop specific strategies our customer facing teams will reach out to you with more details.


Most of all though, we want to let you know we feel a shared sense of community and responsibility to collectively work through this. We have an innate belief in humankind’s ability to adapt, create and find solutions. Our lives may have changed for now, but thoughtfulness, openness and innovation will help us find a path forward and ultimately a way past this.
