Donald Frankel, President & Chief Growth Officer, SEAM Group

As President and Chief Growth Officer of SEAM Group, formerly Predictive Service, Mr. Frankel is responsible for developing the company's overall business strategy and the development of strategic and business relationships. Mr. Frankel's 18 years of hands-on experience in the electrical and communication industries serve him well in his role as President and CEO of Predictive Service. Mr. Frankel has led Predictive Service to be one of the fastest growing companies in the country. Predictive Service was named to the Inc. 5000 for the last eight years in a row. Previously, Mr. Frankel was President of Encompass - Cleveland from 1999 through 2001. Prior to this, Mr. Frankel was President and CEO of El-O Electric Company and Executive Vice President of Pro Net Communications Company for 15 years. Don led the sale of both companies to Group Maintenance of America, a publicly traded company with $1.5 billion in annual sales.


A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Frankel graduated from Ohio State University, where he received a bachelor's degree in marketing with a minor in labor management. Mr. Frankel is also a graduate of the Encompass Leadership Institute, a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) and a 2007 E&Y Regional Finalist for Entrepreneur of the year.

Marcin Sztenke, Director of Operations, SEAM Group, EUROPE

As Director of Operations for Europe, Mr. Sztenke is responsible for overseeing the delivery of predictive maintenance services and reliability programs to clients all throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Mr. Sztenke brings 15 years of managerial, operational and sales expertise to SEAM Group, formerly Predictive Service. Prior to joining Predictive Service, Sztenke served in a variety of roles at Techmadex S.A. in Poland where he successfully developed an infrared inspection services deliverable and preventive maintenance strategy for the gas industry.

He also spent time at SKF where he was responsible for assuring customer satisfaction with condition monitoring equipment and sales with automotive OEM clients. Mr. Sztenke holds B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering and MBA degrees from Warsaw University of Technology. He is also Level II Thermographer.

Jay Smith, Director of Safety Services, SEAM Group

Director of Sales and Corporate Partnership Manager. Jay has been with Lewellyn Technology, now the SEAM Group for 18 years. His expertise with electrical safety offers numerous opportunities for Jay to speak at national events and corporate safety summits. During his tenure at Lewellyn, he has written multiple articles on electrical safety and is known across the country as the go-to resource for electrical safety.


Anthony DeSimone, Vice President Sales, Hendrix Precision Maintenance

A graduate of Keen State College, with a degree in Education, Anthony started his career as a teacher, then transitioned into business, as a Maximo EAM System Instructor.  Anthony traveled the globe teaching end-users, from all industries, best practices as it relates to asset, work and inventory management.  Leveraging observations and real-world issues seen in the field, Anthony has spent the past 15+ years helping asset intensive organizations develop and execute training programs to improve the skill sets of mechanics, supervisors, reliability engineers and other craftspeople.  Today, his focus is hands-on Reliability/Precision Maintenance training for the workforce, helping organizations achieve better uptime and product output, increased Mean Time Between Failures on rotating-equipment, reduction of power consumption and a more confident and skilled workforce.


Phil Hendrix, President, Hendrix Precision Maintenance

Long before his engineering degree was earned at night school while working as a maintenance supt. in a huge pulp and papermill, Phil Hendrix worked as a welder, construction, and then every mechanical position in the mill maintenance department. From his first management assignment he was asked to take over failing reliability efforts in 3 different mills as M & E Manager. While successful in leading dramatic improvements in Safety, Cost and Reliability he will tell you he didn't really learn the most important path to record reliability and cost control until near the end of his plant management career.


Since 2001, when he elected, as the result of a merger of 2 large corporations, to leave industry as an M & E manager in one of the largest facilities in the world and start his own businesses, he and his instructors, engineers, and predictive personnel have worked in over 250 large plants/companies to help them create the same kind of reliability of rotating equipment. In many cases we have been able to double and even triple the life of large numbers of rotating equipment within the same facility.


Bret Bevis, Managing Director, SEAM Group, ASIA

As Managing Director of SEAM Group Asia, Mr. Bevis is responsible for developing the company’s overall business strategy, overseeing all company operations, and the development of strategic business relationships.


With more than thirty years experience, Mr. Bevis’s professional career in both large public corporations and small entrepreneurial firms has exposed him to all facets of business. Mr. Bevis’s previous roles consisted of Corporate Development Manager, Vice President of Operations, Sales and Marketing, Regional Sales Manager, Consultant, Financial Advisor, Board of Directors President, and President.


A native of Cleveland, Ohio Mr. Bevis attended Cleveland State University where he earned a Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Mr. Bevis is also a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP).


Ken Brevell, Vice President for PdM Services, SEAM Group

A native Texan, Ken has lived and worked in several cities across North America. Graduating vocational training for ElectricalTradesin 1980, Ken is also a former refractory installer/inspector. Certified by the Academy of Infrared Thermography as - Advanced Thermal / Infrared Physics, Heat Transfer & Applications – Level III Thermographer. He has over thirty years’ experience in the inspection industry, encompassing many NDE / NDT applications and mechanical inspections, throughout the US, Canada, and the Caribbean.  

As a pioneer in infrared inspection technology, he has developed several new applications for infrared thermography and been instrumental in improvements to many more. While working for a large mechanical inspection company, Ken helped revolutionize the inspection work order system by implementing the digital photographic work order program used by many inspection groups and petro-chem companies today.

Ken was President of Diamond Technical Surveys, LLC, a Infrared Inspection group based in Houston, for 20 years. With the merger of DTS with Predictive Service and Seam Group, Ken is now the VP of PdM Services – SW Region.

John Marks  Speaker, SEAM Group

John Marks has been a full-time instructor within the electrical industry for the past 15 years. Prior to coming to Lewellyn and now SEAM Group in 2014, John had taught all levels of electricians from entry level persons looking to establish a foothold in their electrical careers, to master electricians looking to stay abreast of the latest NEC updates. John has taught for such recognizable firms as Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, NASA, Amazon, Universal Studios and trade organizations IEC (Independent Electrical Contractors) and ABC (Associated Building Contactors).


Prior to instructing full-time, John began his electrical career in 1981 in Southern NJ.  After acquiring his Master license in 1990 John began a commercial contracting business for the next two decades on projects ranging from mall store outfits to complete retail store outlets from the ground up.

Having the ability to instruct different levels of knowledge within the same classroom and make the material effective to each person is no easy feat, but it is one that John effortlessly handles due to his diverse background of students. John has developed a 500-hour electrical pre-apprenticeship curriculum that was taught from 2006 to 2012 for Anne Arundel Community College in MD. Dozens of students became career electricians with many acquiring their journeyman status and higher. Most attendees had limited prior construction experience if any.

John has received the Certificate of Educational Achievement from NFPA for the 2009, 2012, and 2015 cycles of the NFPA 70E and for the 2008, 2011 and 2014 National Electric Code NFPA 70.


Mark Mollison, Senior Account Manager, SEAM Group

As Senior Account Manager for SEAM Group formerly Predictive Service, Mr. Mollison is responsible for managing, and growing, key accounts.  He is also responsible for developing new accounts with an emphasis on the manufacturing market.  Mr. Mollison has been with Predictive Service since 2007.


Prior to joining SEAM Group, Mr. Mollison was with ABB Flexible Automation (Robotics).  During his 22 years at ABB, Mr. Mollison held positions that included Application Engineer/Concept Engineer, Account Manager, Sales Team Leader, and Director of Sales.  Mr. Mollison’s time at ABB was concentrated on the automotive market and its suppliers.  Mr. Mollison was responsible for developing and successfully selling numerous robotic solutions for a variety of manufacturing processes.


A native of Birmingham, Michigan, Mr. Mollison earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University, MI.


Tibor Jung, Senior Reliability Engineer; Enterprise Asset Management, SEAM Group

Tibor Jung has 36 years of experience in the maintenance, engineering and reliability fields and has been affiliated with SEAM Group for the past five years as a Senior Reliability Engineer, Project Manager and Senior Account Executive – Solutions Development. Prior to joining the team, Mr. Jung served as V.P. Operations and Senior Reliability Engineer at LAI Reliability Systems, Inc., where he had the opportunity to develop specialized Maintenance and Reliability solutions to address clients’ specific challenges. His foundational knowledge had evolved from defining equipment reliability needs through functional failure mode analysis, to the development of business processes required to manage work effectively to assure the required level of reliability. Through exposure to other aspects of the operations process beyond maintenance & reliability, his role had further evolved to optimization of entire asset-based systems or process lines including OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) optimization.
Mr. Jung has developed or co-developed multiple Asset Management & Reliability Assessment tools, including a production process Constraint Management Simulation, the Maintenance Work Management Simulation, PM Optimization and a PM Optimization tool. He is currently working in both global & national deployments with key clients and partners in a variety of industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Energy, Facilities Management, Food & Beverage, Mining, Biologics and Pharma to name a few.


V.J. Venkatraman, President & COO, Data Aquity Solutions

V.J. Venkatraman is the President and COO of Data Acuity Solutions, a privately held companyproviding highly effective technical solutions within the areas of manufacturing automation, building automation, and industrial asset management.  Prior to joining Data Acuity Solutions, V.J. was with GenesisSolutions for nineteen years holding various positions and performing various Enterprise Asset Management functions involving Systems (CMMS), Technology, Process, and Strategy.  VJ also spent eleven years with Champion International Paper (Forest Product and Paper Company) in the areas of accounting, finance, marketing, and corporate planning.   His accomplishments include leading many large implementations and providing solutions to customers in the Life Science, Utilities, Transportation, and Manufacturing sectors. 


V.J. holds bachelor’s and graduate degrees in Accounting and Finance from Calcutta, India as well as a graduate degree in Economics and Statistics from N.C. State University.  He is also a Certified Public Accountant (non-practicing) and a certified PMP.  



Ed Burkhart, President of Facility Services, SEAM Group

Mr. Burkhart has extensive experience in building and scaling service and technology businesses. Mr. Burkhart joined SEAM Group, formerly Predictive Service from P.M. Properties Enterprises LLC where he served as Executive Vice President, a leading international construction and facilities services firm serving the retail and allied markets.


During his tenure with P.M. Properties, Mr. Burkhart was instrumental in developing significant value added manufacturer relationships, proprietary technology and a boutique service approach leading to triple-digit sales growth. The Company was named to the 2011 Inc. 5000 as one of the fastest growing companies in the country, ranked at number 27 in the Construction Category. Under his leadership, P.M. Properties was also honored by the Boston Business Journal with the 2011 BBJ Pacesetters Award and was a 2011 Forbes finalist for America's Most Promising Companies Award.

Mr. Burkhart earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Norwich University, pursued graduate studies at Harvard University and is licensed as an unrestricted construction supervisor by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He was also a commissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force and received an appointment to the Board of Trustees of Medfield State Hospital by the governor of Massachusetts.


Rob MacArthur, Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, SEAM Group

As Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, Mr. MacArthur's responsibilities include developing overall business relationships with key accounts and strategic initiatives for business growth.


Prior to joining SEAM Group, formerly Predictive Services, MacArthur was a senior executive with ABS Group serving as Vice President Asset Optimization Services and later as Senior Vice President for the ABS Group Offshore Oil & Gas division.


Mr. MacArthur was a founding partner of GenesisSolutions, a recognized global leader in maintenance and asset management services which provided technology, engineering, and process improvement services to hundreds of industrial companies related to Enterprise Asset Management and Reliability.  GenesisSolutions was acquired by ABS Group in 2012.


Prior to starting Genesis Solutions, Mr. MacArthur was Director of Professional Services for MRO Software and served a number of years in this capacity with responsibility for the Americas, Middle East, Africa, and Australia. Before joining MRO Software, MacArthur was an Engagement Manager with KPMG Peat Marwick and an active duty Engineering Officer in the United States Navy.


Mr. MacArthur is a recognized expert in the fields of enterprise asset management strategy, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, Reliability Engineering and Maintenance, and Maintenance Key Performance Indicators.


MacArthur holds an engineering degree from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from the University of Rhode Island.  In addition, Mr. MacArthur is a licensed engineer with the State of Maryland and retired as a Commander in the United States Naval Reserve overseeing the repair, refueling, and maintenance of US Navy nuclear submarines.
